It certainly hasn't been my favourite of years but I am super grateful to all my friends and family who've been there when times were particularly rough and anyone who has taken a bit of time to support my work throughout the year too. It really means alot to me. Im also grateful for the new connections and insta chums ive made. New art challenge huh? Ok then.... these are a few kid characters from this year, I think they've come a long way since a few years back. I accidentally stumble upon old work and cringe so bad when I see how awful it looked. I feel like I've grown more this year as an artist than ever and am looking forward to continue to doing so in the future. I will be doing another of these with animals because drawing silly anthropomorphic animals is still my favourite kind of illustration :-D

So erm...I was pretty late reading the Harry Potte

So erm...I was pretty late reading the Harry Potter series (like 20 years late haha)...I kind of blitzed them at the beginning of lockdown. I read a lot over lockdown actually. I started a few sample illustrations from the books and then a few days later Rowling made some rather rude comments about trans women which I absolutely don't agree with. Having said that I still think Harry Potter is still an amazing work of fiction and an endless source of inspiration. I love the characters especially Hagrid and all the amazing creatures he looks after at Hogwarts....so here's a character study of Hagrid and Harry visiting #DiagonAlley....hopefully I will finish the piece in its entirety soon but I have various projects on the go atm hence why I haven't posted in some time. Wordy waffle over
